Barbara Lynn Herman

Barbara Lynn Herman, 79, died peacefully on October 20, 2023.

She was known to her family and friends as Bobbie. Bobbie was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on February 19, 1944. She went to Northeast High School and lettered in Varsity Volleyball, Tennis, and Basketball. Bobbie spent most of her life in the suburbs of Philadelphia where she was a medical administrative assistant and senior representative for Weight Watchers.

She is survived by her husband Don Herman who were married for 58 years, her daughter Lisa Brodman (Zack), her son Scott Herman, and her sister Helene MacWhorter (David). Bobbie had three grandchildren, Kara Pinsky, Kobe Pinsky, and Alex Herman who she adored.

Bobbie and Don moved to the Villages in 2017. She was continually active in various activities including golf, Mah Jong, and cards. She was an officer on the Board of Directors of the Manatee "Herd." She loved living in The Villages.

A celebration of Life will be held on Saturday October 28 ^th at the Manatee Recreational Center in The Villages from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. Burial will be held at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida on November 6 ^th for family.
