Barbara Joyce Hinson, 71, of Titusville, Florida, passed away peacefully on August 21, 2026. Born in Fayetteville, Arkansas, Barbara lived a life filled with love, laughter, family, and faith.

Barbara had a beautiful way of making everyone feel welcome. Her favorite color was green, and she had a special love for frogs. She treasured every moment spent with her children and grandchildren, who were truly her pride and joy.

Barbara will always be remembered for her signature sun visors and lipstick—you would rarely see her without either. And, of course, her warm greeting to family and friends was always the same: “Hey Darlin’.” Those simple words captured the warmth and affection she carried with her wherever she went.

Barbara was a faithful member of Rocket Town Church in Titusville, where her faith and fellowship were an important part of her life.

She is survived by her loving daughter, Brennda Sand; son, Jeromey Sand (Amy) and daughter Jaci Brown (Jerry); grandchildren, Ryan Landers, Brianna Landers, Jordan Sand, Jadyn Sand, and sister, Cheryl Benton.

Barbara was preceded in death by her mother, Marylue; brother, Ralph; sister, Deana; and husband, Kenneth.

Barbara leaves behind a lifetime of cherished memories and a love that will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her. Her family and friends will miss her dearly, but they will forever carry her laughter, her love, her beautiful spirit, and that familiar “Hey Darlin’” with them.

Celebration of Life

A celebration of Barbara’s life will be held at Rocket Town Church in Titusville on Sunday, September 27, 2026, at 3:00 p.m.

Her family asks that you remember Barbara by spending time with the people you love, sharing a smile, and greeting someone with a heartfelt “Hey Darlin’.”
