Barbara Ann Hobrock, 80, of New Smyrna Beach and Fort Wayne, IN died peacefully at home with her husband and daughter by her side.  Barbara was born October 7, 1928 in Fort Wayne, IN.  After graduating Bowling Green State University, she was a 3rd grade teacher for a short while before having her children.  Barbara was an avid Bridge player and loved the outdoors, and was actively involved in many volunteer organizations.  But, her true gift was being a loving wife and mother to her family.  She attended Coronado Community Methodist Church and Trinity English Lutheran Church, Fort Wayne, IN.  Barbara is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, David, two cherished grandchildren: 1Lt David (Amanda) Achramowicz of Goldsboro, NC, and Dr. Eugenia Achramowicz of Indianapolis, IN, two loving daughters: Sally (Zdzislaw) Achramowicz and Mary (Ronald) Bonar of Fort Wayne, IN, her sister Catherine Widner of Fort Wayne, IN, and her brother James (Betty) Schlatter of Belpre, OH.  Memorial gifts may be made to Hospice of Volusia/Flagler County, 3800 Woodbriar Trail, Port Orange, FL 32129. 11:00 AM at Baldwin Brothers Funeral & Cremation Service 1 North Causeway New Smyrna Beach, FL 32169 on March 14, 2009 (map/driving directions)
