Barbara Lee Holtmeier, 79, passed away peacefully at the AdventHealth Hospice Center shortly after celebrating her 79th birthday.

Born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Barbara was raised in Lisbon, Iowa. Her life took her to many places, including St. Louis, Missouri, before she ultimately retired in Oviedo, Florida. Each chapter and location shaped the story of a woman who experienced life fully and on her own terms.

Barbara is survived by her children, Scott Linsley, and twins Darcie Englert and Derek Arnold, as well as her younger brother, John Jay Linsley.

Barbara was known for her sense of humor and her ability to make people laugh. When she was able, she took pride in helping friends in need and offering support in quiet, meaningful ways. Her life was marked by resilience, connection, and generosity of spirit.

Her passing marks the close of many years and many places, and she will be remembered by those who knew and loved her.
