Barbara Joan "Bea" Humphrey, 87, passed away on March 8, 2025, in Ocoee, Florida. She was born on June 27, 1937, in Rome, Georgia.
Barbara was a devoted homemaker who dedicated her life to caring for her family. She found great joy in creating beautiful embroidery blankets and pillows, sewing dresses for her children and grandchildren, dancing, baking, and watching television. Her love for her family was evident in everything she did, especially in the way she cherished and spoiled her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A woman of deep faith, Barbara was a Baptist and a member of Grace Bible Church as well as First Baptist Church of Orlando in her earlier years. She loved the Lord and instilled strong Christian values in her children, ensuring they learned about Jesus.
Barbara is survived by her daughters Donna Elaine Vieira (Richard Vieira Jr.), Debra Ann Humphrey, and Christina Lynn Powers (David Powers); her grandchildren Brandon Roberts, Brittanie Vieira, Alisha Lieberman , Brianna Murray, Brooke Vieira, Noah Vieira, Franklin Russell, and Levi Powers; ten great-grand chldren; her sister Lynn Loper (Roger Loper); and her brother Jerry Collins.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Major Thomas Humphrey; her son Thomas Charles Humphrey; her granddaughter April Russell and her
mother Emily Eloise Harrell (step father)Charles Chance Harrell
Barbara's warmth, kindness, and unwavering love will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her family finds comfort in knowing that they will one day reunite with her in Heaven.
