BARBARA JEAN (PAWELA) MacADAMS, wife of Lawrence MacAdams of New Smyrna Beach, FL and Spruce Head, ME, passed away on Friday, June 23rd, 2023. She is predeceased by her parents, Anthony and Lucy Pawela, her sister, Antoinette (Robert) Franklin, and brother Thomas Pawela. She is survived by her stepdaughter, Kirsten (Chris DeVincent) Centrella; granddaughter, Hailee Jane Centrella; sister, Mary Lou (Biago) Simone; sister Elizabeth Weidner; brother James (Constance) Pawela; sister Nancy (Brian) Woods, and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Barbara attended Orchard Park Central Schools, Orchard Park, New York, and the State University of New York at Buffalo. She was employed as a legal assistant at firms in Buffalo, NY and Boston, MA. She was also President of the Condominium Association where she resided in New Smyrna Beach, FL for many years. She was an avid gardener and enjoyed golfing with her husband and friends, both in Maine and Florida.
