Barbara Rita Therrien, age 83, passed away on November 28, 2023, peacefully at home in Cape Coral, Florida. She was born on November 15, 1940, in Fitchburg, Massachusetts to Eli & Georgianna (Lamoureux) Touchette. Barbara graduated 1958 from St. Bernard's High School Fitchburg, Massachusetts. During her life she worked as a bookkeeper for an optometrist's office then a country radio station and lastly a carpet/awning business all while raising her four children.

Her favorite activities included: spending quality time with family & friends, knitting afghans for the Veteran's Administration, arts & crafts, swimming, puzzles and sudoku, and listening and singing to traditional country songs.

She is preceded in death by her parents and brothers; Adrien, Raymond and Ernest Touchette. Family left to cherish her memory: her husband of 64 years, Roger whom she married on July 18, 1959; daughters, Paula (Dennis) MacPherson and Gail (David) Tukianen; sons, Steven (Robin) Therrien and Mark (Cynthia) Therrien; brother, Roger Touchette; grandchildren; Kaitlyn (Walter) Geise, John Tukianen and (fiancé Jaclyn Buonopane), Leah (Samuel) Ingraldi, Andrew (Andrea) Therrien, Christopher (Samantha) Therrien, Hannah (Gabriel) Campbell, Alex (Abigail) Tukianen and Jonnah (Cole) Dann; great grandchildren, Lucas, James and Savannah Campbell, Myles Therrien, Collin Geise, Selah Sanchez, Jedidiah, Zechariah and twins on the way: Lilah and Linneah Ingraldi, Colten Dann, and  Zoey Tukianen.
