Barbara Jean Waterbury or "Babz" as many knew her (65) of Edgewater, Florida, passed away surrounded by her close family and best friend, February 13th, 2024, at Advent Health Hospital, New Smyrna Beach, from a long battle with COPD.

Barbara was born in Danbury, Connecticut, February 3rd, 1959, the daughter of Albert (Thomas) and Ruth Waterbury. After finishing school in Danbury, she was a nurse's aide in both Connecticut and Florida and a Hospice CNA here in Florida, up until her battle with COPD caused her to stop working, February of 2023. She loved her sidekick in life, Jewels, her beloved "Chorkie." She will be dearly missed by her children, grandchildren and close friends.

Barbara is survived by her Son, Thomas Renner and life partner Brian Taylor and Daughter, Jennifer Field, and husband Steve Field, all who reside in Edgewater, Florida. She was also survived by her 3 Grandchildren, Sammy Spink, Alex Spink and David Field. She was preceded in death by her parents.

At the discretion of the family, Barbara will be having a private, closed ceremony with her close family and best friend.
