IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Barbara
Weagraff
September 19, 1934 – June 22, 2018
Barbara Ellen (Stephens) Weagraff 1934 – 2018
Barbara Weagraff, 84 passed away in her home, surrounded by her loving family on Friday, June 22, 2018. She was born September 19, 1934 to Armol and Artie (Davis) Stephens in Yamacraw Kentucky. While living in Florida most of her life, she always considered herself a Kentucky girl and missed the rolling hills and autumn leaves of her youth.
On December 24, 1957, she married the love of her life, Robert David Weagraff in Taft, FL. Barbara's greatest joy was in being a wife, mother and grandmother. She was an accomplished homemaker, cook and baker. She welcomed all into her home, feeding bodies and hearts with her generosity and kindness. Her chocolate chip cookies and pecan pie are legendary to those she happily baked for. She enjoyed reading, volunteering in various church ministries and the Gideon Ladies Auxiliary. She volunteered in her community by delivering Meals on Wheels and working tirelessly in the Women's Missionary Union.
She is survived by her husband, Robert (Rubbie) and her children: Stephen and Beth from Winter Park, FL, Donna Smith and Laura Petrik from Orlando, Daniel from Teaneck, NJ and William from Orlando. She leaves behind 8 Grandchildren and 6 Great-Grandchildren.
Her Homegoing Celebration was held on Wednesday, June 27th, 2018 at 11:00 AM at her home church, First Baptist Church of Taft. Her Interment is being held at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Gotha, FL.
Special thanks to the staff at Hospice of the Comforter for all of their care and support through the past several months, we cannot thank you enough.
