B.T. Gladden, 85 of New Smyrna Beach, passed away peacefully January 4,2017 surrounded by his family at home. He was born in Shelby, NC. He graduated from the University of Miami. He served in the United States Army.

He had a 39 year career with Sears Roebuck & Co in management positions.

He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years Betty Gladden, daughters Tandy Sibley and Cynthia Ekstrand (Peter), 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
