Ben was born in New York City to Benjamin and Willie Mae (Pinkney) Rhodes. Heserved our nation in the US Army in Korea. Ben retired as an Officer for the Bridge and Tunnel Authority in New York. He moved to New Smyrna Beach in 1986 from Staten Island. He is survived by hsi children Robbin Jibowu, Todd Rhodes, Creaig Rhodes,five grandchildren and caregiver Clara Washington. Services will be private.
