We are profoundly heartbroken to announce the passing of our beautiful boy, Benjamin Delaney Thomas-Larocque. Benjamin was an accomplished young man, having received the rank of Eagle Scout (of the Boy Scouts of America). Ben received both a Bachelors of Arts degree in Psychology and a Bachelors of Science degree in Forensics from Florida Gulf Coast University. He was actively employed as a Communications Officer II with the Lee County Sheriff's office. Benjamin's intellect was matched only by his kind heart, and we miss his calm nature and sharp humor with the very core of our beings.

A memorial service is planned at Unitarian Universalist Church of Fort Myers (http://www.uucfm.org/) for Wednesday, April 17, 2019 at 4 pm. A gathering to celebrate all that was uniquely Benjamin will follow. All who knew and loved Benjamin and his family are welcome to join his family, Lisanne Thomas, Stéphane Larocque, Analiese Thomas-Larocque.

C'est avec le coeur brisé que nous vous annonçons le décès de notre fils adoré, Benjamin Delaney Thomas-Larocque.

Benjamin avait déjà de nombreux accomplissements à son actif. Il avait atteint le rang de Eagle Scout (des Boy Scouts of America), et avait réussi deux Baccalauréats, un B.A. en Psychologie ainsi qu'un BSc. en Forensics de Florida Gulf Coast University. Il était présentement à l'emploi de Lee Sherriff's Office en tant que Communications Officer II.

Son intelligence, son bon coeur, sa nature calme et son humour incisif nous manqueront terriblement.

Un service à sa mémoire sera célébré le mercredi 17 avril à 16h au UUCFM. Une réception suivra, un moment où nous célébrerons ensemble tout ce qui le rendait si unique. Tous ceux qui ont eu le plaisir de croiser sa route sont les bienvenus au côté de sa famille, Lisanne Thomas, Stéphane Larocque et Analiese Thomas-Larocque.
