Bernard (BJ) Berger, 74, of Belleview, Florida passed away peacefully on July 12th, 2024; surrounded by family. He was born in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania on October 28th, 1949 to Henry B. and Clara E. (Dorsch) Berger. He is survived by his wife Joanne Berger, daughter Amy Berger, and son Steven Berger.

BJ was a superintendent for multiple builders such as Maronda Homes, John Mckinley Custom Homes, and Arthur Rutenberg Custom Homes. He was very involved in his church, St. Mary's Episcopal Church and most recently volunteered at UF Health Spanish Plaines in the Villages. Over the years he has volunteered at local soup kitchens, Special Olympics, church functions, Habitat for Humanity, and acted as guardian ad litem for children. He enjoyed spending time out in the garden and working on DIY projects.

To honor BJ's wishes, there will be no funeral service. We invite you to please privately celebrate his memory in your own ways. He will be with us in spirit.
