Bernd Harald Kipry was a devoted husband, papa, Opa, and friend. He left this world suddenly at the age of 69, surrounded by loved ones.

Bernd served in the German Armed Forces faithfully and proudly for 34 years and 14 years working as a civilian for the German government. As a lifelong lover of soccer, he was part of the Sport Club 1920 Daisbach as a player and champion coach. He tremendously loved hockey and cheered for the Washington Capitals, played golf with his friends and family often, and also loved his lengthy evenings playing poker with his poker group. One of his biggest joys was traveling the world with his wife collecting memories along the way.

He is survived by his loving wife, Gabriela Kipry; three children and their spouses Kevin & Tatjana Kipry, Tarek & Lyndse Kipry, and Sina Kipry & Ben Golden; four beautiful grandchildren Angelo, Adrian, Finnley, and Annalee; his siblings Helga, Horst, and Renate and a large extended family who live in Germany.
