Berniece Pasteur Beasley of Ocala passed away November 3, 2022 at West Marion Community Hospital.  She was born in Ocala, Florida and was the daughter of Bernice Russell Pasteur and Crawford Pasteur of Anthony.  Berniece graduated from Anthony High School and worked at the telephone company in Ocala as a bookkeeper before marrying Randolph Beasley in 1958.  She loved gardening, pets and wildlife, being a mom, and staying active.   She was an avid supporter of nature and conservation organizations, and frequently raised orphaned baby birds brought to her for care.   She is survived by her daughter Alicia (Todd Trexler), and her longtime friend Carolyn "Kitty" Eidman.  Berniece was a loving mother and friend who will be dearly missed.  The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in her name to the Ocean Conservancy non-profit organization at https://oceanconservancy.org/donate/honor-memorial-giving/ .
