BETTY NORMA (WARE) ALLEN

Born in Erie, Pa. to Everett and Norma Ware, Life long resident in New Smyrna Beach area entered eternal rest December 15, 2017. Worked at Little Drug Company in mid-60's – early 70's, homemaker, enjoyed caring for her orchids and plants, camping, knitting, cross-stitching was relaxing, enjoyed working with children, reading, meeting with ladies Bible study cluster and a member of Servant's Quarters Fellowship. Betty was predeceased in death by her parents, Everett and Norma Ware and brother, Phillip Ware. She leaves behind husband of 47 years, Walter Allen; a daughter, Rebecca (Shane) Summers of Port Orange; a son, Walter ( Kim) Allen IV of Augusta, Ga; a sister, Joy Gasparik of Pace, FL; 12 grandchildren and many nephews and nieces. Cry not for me but remember my walk-in life, I will see you on the other side. The family says thank you to Vitas Team 217 and Dr. Regina Asihene for your compassion, comfort and loving care through the extended period of Betty's illness. Celebration of life will be 11:00 am, Sunday, January 14, 2018 at New Smyrna Beach Middle School auditorium, 1200 S. Myrtle Ave. New Smyrna Beach, FL 32168.
