Mrs. Betty-Ann Mark Jones passed away April 28, 2026, at the age of 79. Proceeded in death by parents Harry Isiac Mark of Tavares Florida and Alice Holcroft Mark of Tavares Florida. Her grandson David Nicholas Larson of Cullman Alabama.

Betty-Ann is survived by her high school sweetheart and husband of 60 plus years, Charles Richard Jones of Ocala Florida, sister Margaret Elizabeth Mark Trump of Ocala Florida, son Charles Marek Jones of Cullman Alabama, daughter Marnie Elizabeth Jones Livingston of Cullman Alabama, grandsons Charles Brenden Jones of Belleview Florida, Matthew Tyler Jones of Ocala Florida, great grandsons Charles Brayden Jones of Belleview Florida and Justin Tyler Jones of Ocala Florida.

While raising three generations of children she found time to work with Equifax Credit, Muzak Sound Systems and Co-owned an Insurance Company.

A 1964 graduate of Tavares high school, Betty-Ann was the 1964 Homecoming Queen, Miss THS, chosen best personality, Key Club sweetheart, Tangelo bowl princess and found time to be in the band, chores, a cheerleader, letterman’s club president, FHA, the student council, Jr. play, librarian and state quartet.

Betty-Ann’s passion through her life was fishing, especially at Lake Harris, this passion turned into cruising later in life.

Betty-Ann was loved by many and will be missed by all that ever met her.

In parting Richard has two thoughts for his beloved wife. You were always the most beautiful woman in the room and “THANK YOU” for choosing me.
