Betty Bennett, 90, of Orlando, Florida, passed away peacefully on May 25, 2025. She was born on December 16, 1934, in Chattanooga, Tennessee. After moving to Florida, Betty worked at Food World and later at Publix, where she met her husband, Clifford Bennett. They were married on June 15, 1970, in Orlando, where they lived a full life with cherished pets — their beloved dogs Georgie, Nino, and Princess, and later their parrots, Bubba and Larry Bird.

Betty and Clifford also enjoyed time at their second home in Franklin, North Carolina, where they frequently spent time with family. Betty had a love for baseball and NASCAR, a passion for traveling, and a tradition of collecting Christmas memorabilia.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jess and Lillie Bennett, and her stepson, Eric Bennett. She is survived by her husband, Clifford Bennett; stepchildren Elizabeth and Gwen Vensade, Liana Bennett, and Yvonne and Kenneth Raley; nine step-grandchildren; and 22 step-great-grandchildren.

After years apart, Betty's final year allowed for a path of reconnection, healing, and reconciliation with her family. Her final days served as a quiet reminder that even late chapters can bring peace.
