It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Betty A. Glicker, who left this world on January 25, 2026, at the age of 98. Born on December 17, 1927, in Detroit, Michigan, Betty was a beacon of love and strength to all who knew her. She was the beloved daughter of Fred and Irene Yager. (early Life)

Betty's life journey took her from Detroit to Cleveland and ultimately to the sunny shores of Ft. Myers, Florida, where she spent her final days. She was mother to her daughter, Linda Koschier, and a grandmother to Kelly Koschier Gastelum, Kimberly Koschier, Kevin Koschier and Kristine Williams, a great-grandmother to Kendyl Suiter, Harper Suiter, Quinn Koschier and Langston Koschier.

A product of her time, Betty graduated high school and worked diligently as a laborer for General Motors, contributing to the economy.

In 1947, Betty married, William Mathews Glicker. Their union lasted over 65 years, filled with love, laughter, and countless memories. Betty relished every moment spent with her loved ones, whether it was through shared meals, vacations, or simple gatherings. William passed in 2013.

Betty's interests were diverse; she had a love for shopping, playing cards and dancing. She was specifically great at rummy. Her spirit of adventure led her on many adventures with Bill and her family.
