Betty Jean Johnson, 64 of Orange City, passed away Sunday, April 10, 2011. She was born on September 25, 1946 in Ashland, Kentucky to the late Ed and Charlene Joseph. Betty enjoyed painting, bowling and working as a manager where she always served everyone with a smile. She also enjoyed interior decorating and previously owned her own ceramic shop, and tanning business. Her family will remember her most for her love of family, warm caring smile and loyal dedicated service to others.
Betty was preceded in death by her loving husband, Elmer and son, Bobby. She leaves to cherish her memory son, Edward (Karen) Eugene Roberts Jr.; daughter, Lynette (Jeffrey) Kay Pennington; grandchildren, Jonathan, Brett, Megan; two sisters, Kathy (Edward) Barker, Jeanette (Jim)Tipton; one brother, Edward (Wendi)Joseph and her loving dog Curlygirl.

A Memorial Service will be held in her honor at Hospice of Volusia Flagler, 1625 Veterans Memorial Parkway, Orange City on Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at 6:30pm.
