Betty June Lacey, 89 years old of Port Orange, Florida died on Sunday, August 8th, 2021 surrounded by her

family at home. She was born in Flint, MI on June 3rd, 1932. Betty married Joe Lacey on December 30, 1950.

Betty was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She cherished her time with her family,

enjoyed  reading, doing crafts and had a strong love for animals. Joe and Betty enjoyed spending their summers

in Au Gres, MI.

She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Joe Lacey, son Steve Lacey and wife Vicki, son Gary Lacey, daughter

Judy Griffin and husband Steve Griffin.  Also left to mourn her passing are six grandchildren, Heather, Derek, Brandon,

Cameron, Dannielle, Stevie and eight great grandchildren, Kenzie, Xander, Leighton, Lincoln, Kaia, Chloe, Dylan, and Hailey. Also,

surviving are her two brothers, Charles and wife Lillian Henson, Gerald Henson, and many nieces and nephews.

Betty is preceded in death by her parents, Ruffie and Kathleen Henson.

She will be cremated with Baldwin Brothers Cremation and Funeral Society, Port Orange, FL in charge of arrangements.

A family memorial service will be held in Michigan at a later date.

Betty will be remembered by her kind, caring and quiet manner. Her family will miss the birthday cards that

she sent and her special smile and twinkle in her eye.
