Betty R. Schmidt, 78, died on Thursday November 19, 2020 in Cape Coral following a brief illness. She was born September 2, 1942 to the late Samuel Austin Holloway and Lena Belle Holloway. Betty worked for many years as a bartender and secretary. Surviving are: her husband, C. Edward Schmidt of Cape Coral; a brother-in-law and niece, Dr. Walter Badenhausen and Traci Badenhausen respectively from Louisville, KY; a sister, Mary Lou Morgan of Knoxville, TN; four brothers; Leon Holloway of Dandridge, TN, Ronnie Holloway of Knoxville, TN, Dewey Holloway of Seymour, TN and David Holloway of Lenior City, TN; two nieces, Melanie Morgan of Knoxville, TN and Cinde Morgan of Wilmington, NC; three nephews, Dale and Keith Morgan, both of Knoxville, TN and Joey Holloway of Seymour, TN.; Services for Betty are private. Interment will be in the Schmidt-Badenhausen grave site at Cave Hill Cemetery in Louisville, Kentucky.
