Betty Jane (Smith) York, 86, of Estero, Florida, passed away peacefully on September 11, 2018. A longtime resident of Estero, Betty was a member of Christ Community Ministries. She previously resided in Fair Haven, New York. She is survived by Cynthia York, Dana York, Crystal (Nick) Crews and Randy York. She is also survived by grandchildren Sydney and Cassidy York and Lily Crews. A Celebration of Life will be held at 10 am on October 6, 2018 at Christ Community Ministries in Estero. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Christ Community Ministries, 8681 County Road, Estero, FL 33928. Baldwin Brothers Affordable Cremations, Ft. Myers assisted the family with arrangements.
