IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Betty Ann
Srock
May 17, 1928 – June 4, 2025
Betty Ann Srock May 17, 1928 – June 4, 2025 Betty Ann Srock, age 97, went to be with the Lord on June 4, 2025, in Sylvania, Ohio, with her loving son by her side. Born on May 17, 1928, in Dalton, England, Betty was the daughter of George Lorrimer Gardner and Edna Mae Gardner. At just six months old, she moved with her family to the United States and was raised in Detroit, Michigan. In 1946, she met the love of her life, William Frederick Srock, and the two were married on June 26, 1948. They shared a beautiful life together until his passing. Betty dedicated 30 years of service to the Fisher Body Division of General Motors, retiring in 1982. She and her husband spent many happy years in Bloomfield, Michigan, before relocating in 1995 to Orlando, Florida. They later settled in the Sugarmill Community in New Smyrna Beach, where they enjoyed retirement, golf, daily walks, and the company of dear friends in both their neighborhood and church community. Betty was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was known for her petite stature, strong spirit, and her warm and intelligent presence. She had a sharp wit, a kind heart, and an enduring faith that touched the lives of everyone who knew her. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, William Frederick Srock, and her brother, Calvin Gardner. Calvin is survived by his wife, Ginny Gardner and her niece and nephews. Betty is survived by her son, William David Srock (Suzanne); her grandchildren, Kristi McAllister (Aaron Root) and Heidi Nafziger (Peter); and seven cherished great-grandchildren: Alex, Katelyn, and Emma McAllister, and Madison, Emily, Ryan, and Joshua Nafziger. Betty's funeral services will be held on Monday, June 9, 2025, at Baldwin Brothers Funeral Home, 1 Causeway North, New Smyrna Beach, Florida 32169. A viewing will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., followed by a funeral service at 12:00 p.m. The family will hold a private burial to lay Betty to rest beside her husband and mother at Woodlawn Cemetery in Gotha, Florida. Betty's legacy of love, strength, and faith will continue to live on in all who had the joy of knowing her. She will be deeply missed
