Beverly A Knox, 81, passed away on April 9, 2022, at Anam Care in Rockford, Illinois.  Bev was born on July 7, 1940 in Stephenson, Michigan to Roland and Veneda (Theander) Freeberg.  In 1945, the family moved back to their hometown, Stillman Valley, Illinois. Bev graduated from Stillman Valley High School in 1958.  She and her first husband, Ellsworth "Butch" Terviel, had three children: Scott, Kathleen, and Steven.  Bev raised her children in Rockford, Illinois.  She moved to Camdenton, Missouri in 1979, retired to Leesburg, Florida in 2004, and returned to Rockford in 2020.  Bev enjoyed caring for her flowers and plants.  She excelled in shuffleboard, becoming a Florida State Champion.  Her faithful dog Max was her constant companion.

Bev was predeceased by her parents and brother-in-law Jack Powell.  She is survived by her children, Scott, Kathy, and Steve; grandchildren Tiffany Avila and April Terviel; five great grandchildren; siblings Janice (Donald) Corbin, Curt (Norma) Freeberg, and Lucille Powell.

Cremation rights have been afforded.  A private memorial service will be held at a later date.  Memorials may be made to Serenity Hospice or a charity of your choice.
