Billie C. Street was born on January 29, 1933 in Chipley, FL.  At the age of 84 he passed away peacefully after a brief illness, under the care of Hospice of Marion county at the Ted and Diane Brandley House, on December 22, 2017.  He retired from the Florida Department of Transportation after 26 years of dedicated service.  When he was younger he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping.   In recent years due to declining health he really just enjoyed watching tv and spending time with family or friends.  Billie was preceded in death by his son, James "Jim" Street; grandson, Seth Street; granddaughter, Baby Girl Spencer and son-in-law Harry Spencer Jr. He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Doris Street in Ocala; sons, Billie E. (Lisa) Street, Bobby Street both of Ocala; daughters, Carolyn I. Spencer of Silver Spring Shores, Shannon Street of Ocala; daughter-in-law, Gay Street of Anthony and sister, Willie Mae Vincent of Belleview.  Billie is also survived by granddaughters, Stephanie Neu of Silver Spring Shores and Carolyn L. Spencer of Silver Spring Shores; grandson Harry Spencer III of Silver Spring Shores; great granddaughter Addison Neu of Silver Spring Shores; great grandson, Emerson Neu of Silver Spring Shores and numerous nieces and nephews.  Donations may go to Hospice of Marion County in his name.  Private family services will be held at a later date.
