Bill Weidman, age 82, of Belleview, Florida passed on May1, 2026 after a long health battle. He had his loving family by his side. Bill was from Wayland New York and was a Snowbird for years and made the permanent move 5 years ago.

Bill was born on January 23,1944 in Geneseo, NY. and was adopted by Gertrude Lutz Happerfield and Russell Weidman.

He married Betty Roberts in 1962 and they has two children. Sharon (Richard) Williams, William (Meredith) Weidman. Seven Grandchildren, Jeremy (Shauna) Vogt, Heather (Jo`se) Vello'n, Megan (Josh) Driesback, Jacob Weidman, Johnathan Weidman, Russell Weidman, Kristen (Julius) Martinez Ortiz and 10 great grandchildren.

Bill was a Ford mechanic and worked at Cortese Ford and later opened his own shop in N.Cohocton, NY Bill liked playing cards with friends and Nascar racing.

Bill was predeceased by his parents, his brother Gordon Weidman, and his son-in-law Richard Williams.

Celebration of life will be held later in New York.
