Billy S. Ford, went to be with the Lord at the age of 82.   He was born to James and Gertrude Ford on January 31, 1939 in Sarasota, Florida.  Billy spent most of his life here in Sarasota up until his passing on April 15, 2021.  He will be missed by many.  Billy is survived by his loving wife Nancy; children, John Ford, Christy (Roh) Blockholt, Charles (Rhonda) McLead, James McLeod; grandchildren, Danielle McLeod, Charles McLeod III, Cody Allen McLeod, Colton James McLeod, Taylor Christine McLeod, Chelsea (Ryan) Raguth, and Brandon Reid; Great grand children Rylan Keith Raguth, Ryder Michael Raguth, Colbie Marie Hobbs, Adleigh P. McLeod, Carter Allen McLeod and Landon James McLeod.  A Church service will take place at Friendship Baptist Church, 5700 Palmer Blvd, Sarasota, FL 34232 on Saturday, May 8th, 2021 at 11:00 am. After the service everyone is invited to share memories and celebrate his life at The American Legion Glen Peters Post 266- 5201, Richardson Rd, Sarasota, FL 34232.
