Mr. Bob G. Tyler, 78, died of pneumonia and a collapsed lung with his family at his side at Leesburg Regional Medical Center on June 12, 2019 in Leesburg, FL.  Bob is survived by his loving wife Shirley of 58 ½ years; daughter, Rhonda Owen and grandchildren Melissa and J.C. Owen of Fruitland Park, FL; sisters, Marilyn Baker of Jacksonville, FL and Becky Hogue of Pocahantas, AR.  Bob is preceded in death by his parents Clarence and Betty Crismon Tyler of Pocahontas, AR.  Bob was born on January 13, 1941 in Pocahontas, AR to Clarence and Betty Crismon Tyler.  He attended school in Maynard, AR and then married the love of his life Shirley Hogue in 1960.  In 1962 Bob and Shirley had their daughter Rhonda.  After moving to Jonesboro, AR, Bob began working for Home Electric, which later became TEC Electric as a Purchasing agent.  Bob received outstanding salesman awards from SME during his career.  He retired from TEC Electric after 35 years.  In 2003 they moved to Fruitland Park, FL.   Bob was a talented guitar player and singer who helped establish "The Sunday Jammers of Lake Griffin Isles."  He was wonderful and loving and enjoyed playing music and spending time with his family and friends.  He was a member of the Beverly Shores Church of Christ in Leesburg, FL.  A memorial service is scheduled for June 29, 2019 at 1 pm at the Clubhouse of Lake Griffin Isles.  Tommy Hagewood will officiate the ceremony.  The family would like to thank the medical staff at Leesburg Medical Center for their care and support they provided during his illness.  Online condolences may be said at www.baldwincremation.com.
