Obituary

"Rusty" Bobby Lee Moore Jr. was born in July of 1957 in Mulberry, Florida to Mattie Louise Moore and Bobby "Bob" Lee Moore Sr. He has two siblings, Barbara Kay Fanning and William Michael Moore who he leaves behind.

He was quarterback of the football team, played golf, and was very athletic. He lived on the beach in Florida and at the hunting camp in Georgia. An avid hunter, fisherman, and adventurer, he went on many global trips with his father, Bobby Lee Moore Sr. Learning from his father and working from the ground up, he ran several construction companies that could mold earth and create the most beautiful landscapes, houses, fueling stations, and restaurants. He was always highly respected by anyone he worked with and many tried to pull him out of retirement. As a country Christian man, he loved to drive his tractor and plant a field. There truly is no one like him in all this world. Most would say the last of his kind, but we'd say the first and last.

He had 3 wives, Patricia (Duke Shuman) Moore, Angela (Lovelace) Moore, and Tara (Tomlinson) Moore. He was always around his children: Khrista Fultz, Bobby Moore the 3rd, Angelica "Angel" Lewis, Carla Rodgers, Jeremy Moore, Bo Moore, and Amanda Moore. Between them he leaves behind ten adoring grandchildren.

He passed January 13th, 2025 in Clearwater, Florida surrounded by his loving children. Beyond what words can express, he is loved and missed by many. Slip on out in that field in Heaven Daddy, that buck's been waitin on you! A celebration of life event will be held in remembrance of the great man he was on Saturday, February 1st at the Lakeland Yacht Club from 11:30-2pm.
