Bonita "Bonnie" Jean Santos, 71, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on Saturday, June 13, 2026.

Born on October 13, 1954, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Bonnie built a life centered on family, friendship, and kindness. She later settled in Bryans Road, Maryland, where she raised her family and worked for many years at USA Today until her retirement. In 2024, she moved to Florida to be closer to family, cherishing the opportunity to spend even more time with those she loved most.

Bonnie found joy in life's simple pleasures. Whether she was creating something special in her craft room or preparing a meal in the kitchen, she poured her heart into everything she did. Her greatest happiness came from gathering with family and friends, sharing stories, laughter, and making memories that will be treasured forever.

Welcoming Bonnie into eternal rest were her beloved daughter, Katie Donaldson; her husband, Ricky Miller; her brothers, John Gadd and George Gadd Jr.; her sister, Kathy Tonetti; her mother, Alice Braden; and her father and bonus mother, Donald and Vivian McGreevy.

She leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish her memory, including her little sister, Sandy (Bruce) Applegate; her big sisters, Marie Ryan and Alice Exler; her bonus siblings, Earl Jr., Debbie, Maria, and Linda Braden; and her lifelong best friend, Brenda Jones. Bonnie was also a beloved aunt to many nieces and nephews who cannot imagine a world without her love, guidance, and unwavering support.

Bonnie's warmth, creativity, and devotion to family touched countless lives. Though she will be deeply missed, her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
