Bradley Bruce Payne passed in comfort of his home in Daytona Beach, FL on April 24, 2019. Born August 17, 1946 in Keene, New Hampshire and was lovingly raised by his grandparents, Ralph and Madeline Payne. He was preceded in death by his parents Rachel Boomer Giard and Slayton Ralph Payne. His is survived by his wife of 36 years, Andrea Desilets Payne, their daughter Hannah Elizabeth Payne, brother Barry Payne, brother-in-laws Mark Desilets of Swanzey, NH and Jack Desilets of Ormond Beach, FL, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Brad graduated from Keene High School in 1964. He enlisted in the U.S. Army (82 Airborne Division Military Police) in 1965 during the Vietnam War. He went on to serve in the 101st Airborne Division; Long Range Reconnaissance Patrol. Brad was honorably discharged in 1968 and returned to work in the family business RW Payne Construction Company. He left the construction business and joined the Keene Fire Department in 1971. He held almost every position until he reached the rank of Fire Chief in 1999. Brad retired from KFD in 2003. His family moved to Florida in 2012 and settled in Daytona Beach. Brad enjoyed hunting and just recently returned from a successful Elk hunt in Wyoming. His wife Andrea and daughter Hannah will miss his love and devotion. The calling hours will be held at Foley Funeral Home on May 22, 2019 with a life celebration at 10AM, May 23, 2019 St. Bernard's Church. Keene, NH.
