IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Brent James
Burton
November 13, 1980 – February 24, 2026
Brent James Burton, born November 13, 1980, passed away unexpectedly to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on February 24, 2026. Born in Woodhaven, Michigan, Brent was the beloved son of James and Linda Burton and the devoted brother of Jeffrey and Rachel Burton. He was also a loving brother-in-law to Steven Agresta; Amber Agresta (wife of Steven); and AJ Agresta.
Brent was a devoted and faithful husband to Allison, a proud and caring uncle to Cass, Miles, Angelina, and Adam, and a cherished nephew, cousin, and friend to many.
He was the beloved son-in-law of the late Susan Agresta and is also survived by his father-in-law, Albert Agresta, and stepmother-in-law, Sandie Agresta.
Brent’s passions included his deep love for cars — he loved everything about them. Whether talking about them or simply admiring them, cars brought him joy. He also had a true passion for cooking and grilling, always searching for new and innovative recipes and techniques. Brent loved to entertain and took great pride in bringing people together. Whether it was a holiday, a major celebration, or just an ordinary day, he found joy in feeding others and making everyone feel welcome around his table. His home was a place of warmth, laughter, and full plates.
He also had a special, gentle, and deeply loving soul toward animals, especially Labrador Retrievers. His tenderness and compassion for them reflected the kindness that defined his heart.
Brent was also incredibly passionate about Halloween and was known for having one of the best Halloween displays in the neighborhood. Each year, his display brought families, friends, and neighbors together to watch, admire, and share in the excitement. What he created was more than a display — it was an experience that brought joy, connection, and lasting memories to so many.
But more than anything, Brent will be remembered for his heart. He was the kindest, most genuine soul you could ever meet — the kind of person who made everyone feel valued, welcomed, and loved.
He loved without limits, gave without hesitation, and left us better than he found us. The world was brighter because he was in it. Though we did not have him long enough, his impact will remain strong in the lives he touched.
Heaven has gained someone truly extraordinary, and those who knew and loved Brent will carry his memory in their hearts forever. Services to take place at the convenience of his family. Arrangements are under the direction of Baldwin Brothers Funeral and Cremation Society, Orlando, FL.
