Brian Patrick Dermody, 35, Fort Myers, Florida passed away on December 15, 2017 at Joanne's House at Hope Hospice in Bonita Springs, Florida. He was born on May 17, 1982 in Naples, Florida.  Brian had a love for life and always lived it at full throttle with a bright white smile on his face. He enjoyed all water sports, especially boating, which is part of what brought him back home to Florida. Brian most recently worked for a local remodeling contractor and was the owner of D & D Affordable Remodeling in Bourbonnais, Illinois. He is survived by his daughter, Julianna Bourassa; his daughter, Caylee Dermody; his stepson, Christian Hickey; his longtime girlfriend, Amanda Szalmasagi; his mother, Ann Dermody; his father, Daniel Patrick Dermody; his sister, Erin Dermody; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
