Brian Touhey passed away peacefully on September 27, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family.
Raised in Fair Lawn, New Jersey, Brian was the son of the late Edward Patrick and Adele Jane (Cleaves) Touhey. After graduating high school, Brian answered the call of duty and enlisted in the United States Army. He proudly served as a tank mechanic with the 3rd Armored Division “Spearhead,” stationed in Germany along the Berlin Wall. Brian was generous, fun-loving, and unapologetically himself. He faced life’s highs and lows on his own terms, living out the words of Frank Sinatra’s classic anthem—“My Way.” Beneath his goofy humor and spirited personality, he loved his family deeply and held immense pride in his military service. Brian was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Alice White; his parents, Edward and Adele; his sisters, Donna Louise Touhey Stashuk and Janice Ann Touhey Johnston; and his brother, Timothy Touhey. He is survived by his loving daughter, Adele Laurie Touhey (PA); his sister, Cassandra Mary Green Klein (Port Charlotte, FL); and his brother, Daniel Touhey (Venice, FL). He also leaves behind his stepdaughters, Michelle Bergman and Alicia Carbone and their families (NJ); his nephews, Christopher Stashuk (Little Rock, AR), Shawn Eudy, Patrick Green (Phoenix, AZ), and Ryan Andrew Green (Port Charlotte, FL); his great-nephew, Sean Green (Anchorage, AK); and his great-niece, Darby Eudy (CO). Brian was laid to rest with military honors at Sarasota National Cemetery in Florida.
