Bruce Theron Benton, 92, of Ocala Florida died Friday, October 25, 2013 at the Legacy House. He was born in the Bronx, NY to Grover and Belle Worden Benton. He was a US Air Force Veteran of World War II. He later enjoyed working with his father at Benton Motors in Fairfield, CT. He then went to work with Remington Arms in Bridgeport, CT, which moved to Arkansas and later was transferred to Arkansas. He served as a Supervisor of Manufacturing. He was a member of the free Masons Lodge and The American Legion. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, bowling, and playing bridge. He will be missed by his loving family; his wife of 65 years, Marjorie Benton, one son, Bruce Benton, Jr., one daughter, Diane Benton, one granddaughter, Laurel Lozzi, a brother Glenn Benton, and one sister Beverly Woodward. Private services are being held by the family.
