Mr Bruce A Sherwood, Sr., 84, formally of Richmond VA and Cortland NY, Died at home Friday night April 12, 2024,  His Daughter by his Side.  He was born February 5, 1940 in Penn Yan New York, the son of Fred & Elizabeth (Betty) Sherwood.  Mr. Sherwood, long time Resident of Richmond VA, moved to Leesburg Florida 1991. He is survived by six children, Bruce (Lorraine) Sherwood Jr., James Sherwood, Patty Fowlkes, Lee Ann Rhodes, Donald Sherwood and Eric Sherwood all live in Virginia.  Mr. Sherwood is survived by one brother Gregory of Virginia and 2 Sister in laws Elizabeth Sherwood VA: Helen Sherwood New York, Sister in Law Connie (Robert) Vormwald, Robert Batzer (Brother in law) of New York, Kim Snell of VA and Wayne Sheeder of Florida, l6 Grandchildren, 8 Great Grandchildren, Several Nieces + Nephews.

He going to be with Wife of 54.5 years Sandra Sherwood and Father Fred H. Sherwood, Mother Elizabeth J Sherwood,  4 Brother Charles F Sherwood, Wayne W Sherwood, Ron Sherwood, Ray Sherwood, Daughter Dixie Lee Sherwood, Son Jason E Sherwood, Daughter in law Amy Sherwood and Great grandchild Caleb.

After wife passed away he Joined the volunteer Staff at Florida Hospital Waterman for 5 years.

Final Resting Place will be Greenwood Memorial Cemetery in Henrico County, Virgina with his Wife + Son Jason.
