Life Celebration for Bruce Edward Smith, Sr, 89, Edgewater FL who died Sunday, January 27, 2013 peacefully at home will be 11:00 AM Thursday at Baldwin Brothers Heritage Place 1 North Causeway New Smyrna Beach. Interment will follow at Sea Pines Memorial Gardens. Bruce was born in Campbellton, Florida and came to this area in 1958 from Panama City. He served our nation during WW II in the United States Army Air Corps. He was a member and Deacon for many years at Beachside Baptist Church New Smyrna Beach. Bruce enjoyed fishing and shrimping. He is survived by his children Bruce E Smith, Jr, Janet Maler, Gerard R Smith, three grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife of over 50 years Lula Jane Smith.
