Bruce T. Shuffitt formerly of Bowling Green and Woodburn KY, died February 2,2025 in Ocala, FL. He was born in Amos, KY, on February 8, 1933. He married Margaret Grove on August 18, 1957 in Chattanooga TN, at Tennessee Temple University.

He was preceded in death by his parents John Walter Shuffitt and Ruby Gertrude Shuffitt (Nee) Law. He was also preceded in death by brothers Belvie and Gordon Shuffitt , his son, John Mark Shuffitt , and his wife Margaret Shuffitt (nee Grove).

He is survived by his daughter, Sheila Bush (Kim) of Torrance CA, his daughter- in- law Suzanne Shuffitt of Anthony FL , four grandchildren: Jackson Bush and Joyful Bush of Torrance, CA. Kate Ramsey, (Alex) of Centennial, CO and Sarah Shuffitt (Shane Williams) of Panama City, FL.

He is also survived by his great grandson, Charles Williams of Pnama City, FL. Additionally, he is survived by several nieces and nephews.

He graduated from Allen County High School and Bowling Green Business University. He worked at Citizens National Bank in Bowling Green, Ky for more than twenty years. He lived and farmed in Woodburn, Ky from 1970 to 1985. He then began working at the Opryland Hotel. He moved to Nashville, TN and worked at the Hotel for fifteen years. He retired, then moved to Dunnellon FL, in 1999.

While in Bowling Green KY, he was a member of Eastwood Baptist Church and later Rich Pond Baptist Church. In Nashville, TN he was a member of Cornerstone Church, and in Dunellon, FL he was a member of River Life Church.
