Burton Thomas Jarrett III, known to many as "Tom," passed away on August 16, 2024, in Tavares, Florida. Born on December 6, 1978, in Honolulu, Hawaii, Tom lived a life marked by dedication to his family, service to his country, and a passion for his hobbies.

Tom attended Georgia Tech and served his country honorably in the U.S. Army Infantry, stationed at Fort Campbell, Kentucky. After his military service, he was employed with Advanced Auto in Raleigh, North Carolina, where he formed close bonds with his coworkers and the community.

Tom was passionate about gaming and golf, two hobbies that brought him joy and allowed him to connect with friends and family.

Tom is survived by his son, Alexander T. Jarrett; his father, Burton T. Jarrett Jr.; his sister, Michelle Shea (Patrick); his nephew, Patrick Shea III; and his niece, Reagan Shea. He will also be missed by numerous loyal friends and neighbors in Raleigh.

Tom was preceded in death by his mother, Suzanne T. Hill, who passed away before him.

A private service will be held at the discretion of the family. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks for donations to be made in Tom's name to a charity of your choice.
