Obituary

Byron Lee Bradbury, 78, of Ponce Inlet, FL, passed away on March 26, 2020. "By," as he was known to his friends and family, was born on August 11, 1941 in Mt. Vernon, NY to the late Gordon and Edna Bradbury. He was employed by American Cyanamid as the director of their graphic arts department for many years.

He is survived by his wife, Jean Bradbury, his daughter Robin Hansen and her husband Kurt, as well as his son Ryan Bradbury and his wife, Melissa. In addition, he leaves behind his brother Ronald and his wife, Grace, as well as his twin brother, Curtis, and his wife Carol. By is also survived by his grandchildren, Jessica LaRusso, Allie Hansen, and Madison and Harrison Bradbury. He has a great-grandson, Cameron, due to arrive in a few weeks.

During his retirement, By spent time at his homes in Ponce Inlet, FL, West Milford, NJ, and Upstate New York. He had a tremendous love for his family and his dogs. Some of his favorite hobbies included mowing the fields at his New York State home; building, flying, and fixing model airplanes; and using his immense creative talents to produce incredible works of art and inspire others. By was famously known as "The Brush," as he painted lifelike murals and detailed masterpieces on vans and motorcycles during the 1970s.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
