Carl Ackerman, 77, of Silver Springs, FL, passed away January 7, 2015. Carl was born on August 26, 1937 in Far Rockaway, NY. He was a construction superintendent. Carl served his country in the US Army. He moved to the area twenty two years ago from Pennsylvania. Carl enjoyed fishing and was a member of the Cattle Club. He is survived by his wife, Ann Marie, daughter, Suzanne LaPointe, son, Steven Ackerman, sister, Mary Dreyhaupt, first wife, Ingrid Ackerman, and grandson, Liam LaPointe. He was preceded in death by his daughter, JoAnne Ackerman. Carl will be missed by many family and friends.
