Heaven just received an exceptional man in Carl Eugene Barbour, who passed away January 16, 2021. After a heroic battle against cancer, Carl went to the Lord. Born on February 24, 1939, his roots come from generations of a Florida pioneering family. He was a man of many trades, and he was liked and loved by all who met him. Carl was also a proud member of the Freemasons.

Carl leaves behind his wife, Tina, his daughter, Carla, his siblings, Agnes Smith, Jim Barbour, Addie Whitford, and June Reeder, his best friend, Smitty Smith, and his comfort dog who never left his side, Zookie. Carl was predeceased by his parents, Harley and Rose Barbour, and his stepson, Brandon.

Carl is dearly loved by his family and his friends, and the memories they made with him will always hold him close to their hearts. There will be no memorial due to Covid. Burial will be at Pilgrims Rest Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Halifax Health Hospice .
