Carl (Buddy) Ferris Campbell Jr., 66, of Port Orange, Florida passed away on July 26, 2016 at the Halifax Health Hospice – Port Orange Care Center. Buddy was born on December 20, 1949 in Daytona Beach, Florida to the late Carl Ferris Campbell Sr. and Mary Joy (Paysinger) Campbell. He was a United States Army Veteran and he worked as a Firefighter / Fire Marshal. Buddy was named the Fire Fighter of the year in 1998 by the city of Port Orange. He is survived by his loving wife, Cynthia Campbell of Port Orange, Florida; his two sons, James Campbell (Kelly) of New Smyrna Beach, Florida and Brian Campbell (Heidi Pena) of Deltona, Florida; his five grandchildren his one great grandchild; and his former spouse, Donna Campbell. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday July 30, 2016 at the Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 724 Big Tree Road, South Daytona, Florida. Memorial donations may be made in memory of Buddy to the Halifax Health Hospice – Port Orange Care Center or to the Holy Cross Lutheran Church.
