Carl C. Hurt, Jr., 70, passed away on Saturday, May 26, 2018 in Ocala, FL. Carl was born to Marian and Carl C. Hurt, Sr. on September 16, 1947 in Warrenton, VA. After serving in the Army he worked as an electronics technician for over 40 years. He enjoyed camping, fishing, and watching sports on TV. He is survived by his wife of 34 years Kelly Teress Hurt; daughter Ashley Hurt of Tallahassee, FL; son Austin Hurt of Orlando, FL; son Andy Hurt and his daughter Kayla of Williamsport, PA; and stepdaughter Amber Johnston and her husband and two sons of Aston, PA. He is also survived by his sister Linda Hurt of Manassas, VA; sister Dolores Lee of Pe Ell, WA; brother Barry Hurt of Kearneysville, WV; brother Jay Hurt and his wife Jennifer of Manassas, VA; as well as stepbrothers, nieces, and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and sister Nancy Hurt. A Celebration of Carl's life will be held in Manassas, VA for family and friends at a later date.
