A Life Well Lived Carlos A. Jackson, age 90 departed this life on August 14, 2014. He was born in Rochester, N.Y. to the loving parents Arnold and Martina Louisa (Minnie) Jackson. Carlos and his sister Louise moved to Harlem, N.Y. with his family where he met the love of his life, Melva. He attended high school in N.Y. and thereafter, enlisted in the United States Army. Carlos received an Honorable discharge in the U.S. army and returned home to marry Melva. Of this union, a daughter and son were born (Melvina Joy and Kenneth). Carlos was employed in the automotive industry for most of his life, but he had the skills of a contractor. He enjoyed Jazz music and dancing. He and Melva enjoyed traveling extensively around the country and also spending time with family (Feasters and Alexander's) and friends. They enjoyed this good life for 54 years. In 1993 Carlos and Melva moved to Orlando, Florida, where they had a lovely home built. They were very fortunate to have their niece and nephew Priscilla and John to assist them with their relocation. To all of his nieces and nephews, he was (Uncle Carl). After the passing of his first wife Melva, Carlos later remarried Jean Price-Jackson. Carlos leaves to cherish his memory, his sister, Louise and his brother-in-law, Moody; his two children, Melvina Joy and Kenneth and (his son-in-law Bill); his step-children, Theodore III, (wife Meleia) and Mark; Eight grandchildren, Kevin, Jeannine, Dorlanda, Takara, Kendall, Kenya, Theodore II, Jovan; and thirteen great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.                              Come To Me   God saw you were getting tired and a cure was not to be.  So he put his arms around you and whispered "Carlos come to me". With tearful eyes we watched you, and saw you pass away. Although we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay. A precious heart stopped beating, hardworking hands at rest.  God broke our hearts to prove to us he only takes the best!   Acknowledgement With grateful hearts, the family of Carlos A.
