"The Mango Man"

Pickering, Carl Wayne, 79 years old, died August 20, 2026, at home in Ormond Beach, Florida.

Wayne is survived by his brother Roy and Sandra Pickering of Orlando, Florida, brother Gary Pickering of Vancouver, British Columbia, and sister Joan Pickering of Moudon, Switzerland.

Wayne was born on June 13 (Friday) 1947 in Summerside, Prince Edward Island, Canada. His parents were William Alfred Pickering and Erna Marie Cahill Pickering.

Wayne joined the U.S. Navy in the 1960's. He was in Vietnam three times and received several medals for his service.

In the 1970's Wayne ,oved back to the Daytona Beach area where our mother lived. Wayne always felt it was his paradise! He loved swimming in the ocean and bicycling on the white sands, often doing hand-stands along the way.

He was an avid health professional with several food combining charts. a dynamic speaker, author of books, many podcasts. Indeed, a terrific motivator!

He had degrees in nutrition and theology and a doctorate in naturopathy.
