Carlene Jean Anthony (Wenhart) of Akron, Ohio, passed away on May 16, 2024, in New Smyrna Beach, Florida, at the age of 75.

She was born on April 7, 1949 to Carl and Ruth Wenhart in Akron, Ohio. She was predeceased by her mother, father, and her husband of 23 years, Gordon Anthony. She is survived by her sister, Pat, and brother, Dave, her daughter, Jackie, son, Mike, and step-son, Jason.   She is survived by her four grandchildren- Jamie, Kyle, Declan, and Sawyer.

Carlene retired from her job as an administrative secretary at age 62. Carlene was full of life and well-loved by many.  She spent much of her time after retirement playing golf, exercise, playing cards with friends, and traveling to beautiful places, including many trips to her favorite place, Hawaii.

A funeral service will be held at the Cape Canaveral National Cemetery with a Celebration of Life following with loved ones.

Carlene will be dearly missed by her family and friends.  May she rest in peace.
