Carlos Alberto Porta, 76, of Cape Coral died peacefully  Friday, March 4, 2022, at his home. He was surrounded by family.  He was born October 30, 1945 to the late Juan and Mercedes Porta in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

He was a member of the Argentina Police Department and an Army veteran. Carlos retired as a professional skilled contractor. He moved to Florida from New York in 2000.

Carlos enjoyed amateur radio, scuba diving, boxing, video games, swimming, and traveling.

He is survived by his wife,  Marcela Porta; three daughters, Gabriela, Yvette, Marcy Porta; a son, Guillermo Porta; his son-in-law Matthew Cabral; his sister Irene Porta, his brother Gabriel Porta; and seven grandchildren.

He will be missed by his family and all whose lives he had touched.
