Carmen G. Vazquez, age 79 of Ocala, Florida went to be with her Lord, Jesus Christ, on 04/24/2024.

Carmen was born in Arecibo, Puerto Rico on February 11, 1945 to parents, Salustiano Perez and Candida Felicidano. She was married to Jose Vazquez on June 14, 1987. Carmen was a stay home mother and grandmother. She devoted her time to help care for her family and worked part time in the food service industry at a local daycare. Carmen volunteered weekly at her local Seventh Day Adventist Church in Pennsylvania for over 25 years, where she served as a deacon. Carmen loved her Lord Jesus Christ; she would spend time on a daily basis studying the Bible and praying. She loved listening to and singing worship songs and hymns. She often said Jesus Christ gave her hope and courage to deal with life's challenges. Carmen's sense of humor was great; even when she faced challenges she would find time to laugh and make others laugh, as well. Carmen's favorite scripture was Psalms 23:4.

Carmen is survived by Migdalia Roman Silva, Daughter; Jose Silva, Son-in-Law; Xavier Drouet, Grandson; Jasmin Roman, Granddaughter; Clarabell-Cipriano Ortiz, Granddaughter; Christian Roman, Grandson; Peter Silva, Grandson' and seven great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by Pedro Roman, Son and Jose Vazquez, Husband.

Funeral arrangements are scheduled for 10:00 AM on May 3, 2024 at Baldwin Brothers Funeral Home, 11250 SW 93rd Ct Rd, Unit 300, Ocala, Florida 34481.
